{"id":2,"date":"2009-04-19T21:53:44","date_gmt":"2009-04-19T13:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zivberin.com\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2012-12-12T14:28:10","modified_gmt":"2012-12-12T06:28:10","slug":"training","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.formosadiving.com\/?page_id=2","title":{"rendered":"Dive Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Open Water Diver \u2013 The entry level course :<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-71 alignright\" title=\"ow_card\" alt=\"ow_card\" src=\"http:\/\/www.formosadiving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/ow_card.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"119\" \/>Upon successful completion of the course, students would be certified to dive anywhere in the world\u00a0without the supervision of \u00a0an instructor to the depth of 20 meters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The course consists of 4 diving days, during which the students would acquire all the skills related to the usage of the equipment, movement under the water and safety procedures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There will be also 5 theory lessons which are :<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the scuba equipment<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0diving physics<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0diving physiology<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0dive planning<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the underwater environment.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Basic swimming skills are required.<\/p>\n<h3>Schedule &amp; location:<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The time is flexible and I can adjust it according to the groups needs and requests,<br \/>\nBut normally it would be done over 2 weekends.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first day would be held in a swimming pool in Nan Gang area, Taipei.<br \/>\nThe 3 remaining days would be in a place next to Keelung called Long Dong (\u9f8d\u6d1e)<br \/>\nThe theory classes would be held in a dive center in Gong Guan (\u516c\u9928), unless there\u2019s a<br \/>\nRequest to hold it in other place.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cost \u2013 the price is 12,000 NT and that includes insurance, certification, a student book,<br \/>\ndive tables, and equipment during the course.<br \/>\nIn addition there will be pictures that shot during the course and will be giving to the students without charge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Advance Open Water :<\/h2>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-72 alignright\" title=\"aow_card\" alt=\"aow_card\" src=\"http:\/\/www.formosadiving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/aow_card.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"117\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>This is the continuation of the Open Water Certification , and is meant to provide the students with<br \/>\nmore confidence, skills, control over the dive, knowledge &amp; understanding of the underwater world.<br \/>\nUpon successful completion of the course, the students would be certified to dive to 30 meters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There will be 2 diving days with 5 variety of specialty dives :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Deep diving (30 Meters)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Navigation dive<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Night\/limited visibility<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Wreck dive<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Boat dive<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">* you must be a certified Open Water Diver.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<h3>Schedule &amp; Location:<\/h3>\n<p>There will be briefing and theory sessions before each dive, and the dive will be in kenting, keelung, green island, according to what the group forms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cost :<\/p>\n<p>The cost is 8,500 NT and that includes the certification, and a student kit.
